“The Smart One” Simon Wilby chooses Barbados

The island of Barbados is undeniably the ideal site for Simon Wilby - the inventor of “The Smart One” and CEO of “The Smart Power”; to situate his first ever international headquarters. Simon Wilby’s head office is at Bridgetown, Barbados. It is a sun-lit area where he plans to take advantage of the island’s sun-drenched region.

Simon Wilby’s view on capitalizing on the country’s tropical climate allows him to use the sun as a form of a power-induced tool for his device “The Smart One”. This product has the ability to regenerate its solar-cell rechargeable battery by drawing-on the sun’s powerful rays.

Simon Wilby’s objective in creating a product such as “The Smart One” was to reduce the usage if not completely eradicate the habit of using chargers for gadgets such as cellular phones. The logic behind this is because the “The Smart One” uses a battery whose power source is lithium based. This battery is assembled in solar cells or solar panels that have the capability to trap light in. In the process, it converts it into power that is stocked-up within the battery.

“The Smart One” is an ideal accompaniment to the diverse mobile-phone-units of today. It is compatible to all types of cellular phones and its function is to recharge the cell phone’s battery via the sun’s rays as well as artificial light when the sun is not around. This assures its owner that his or her battery’s life will last longer than the conventionally charged-way of doing so– using electricity.

Barbados has proven to be a good location to test Simon Wilby’s “The Smart One” using solar power. Indeed, this is an important milestone is man’s quest to smarter living.
